Melly Hinson, MSW (she/her)
Melly brings to the table a rich background in case management, coaching, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques. Her passion for helping individuals navigate life's challenges is underscored by the primary dialectic of DBT, that in order for change and growth to occur we must also be able to accept the reality of our present circumstance. From this place, it’s possible to learn new skills and build on strengths to create a life worth living. Through empathy, active listening, and a client-centered approach, Melly strives to make the therapeutic relationship a safe place where clients feel seen, understood, and valued.
When not working, you can find Melly on the yoga mat, or in some sort of outdoor adventure with her husband and 8-year old daughter. She has never met a dog that she didn’t find to be adorable.
